PAINTING IN THE SKY

While I decipher and take apart
What autumn does to my heart
Leaves that scatter and winds that haul
Giving cycles to our sphere in the fall!
As charcoal pencils curl upward
To touch upon that glorious sky
Almighty's strokes paint infinity
As those crimson colours fly!
A dusky eve and dawn so bright
As the dark gives way to light
And hope opposes all those fears
Letting his rhythms guide my sight!
Both light and dark in everyday
I have found, as I yield to his might
Both natures wealth and peace of mind
As I look above and fold my hands to pray!
