THE BEAUTY OF POETRY

There’s a certain magic in writing poetry,

It lifts the spirit, when you’re down and lonely, 

Just take a pen, let your heart speak loud,

It whispers soft, in the noisiest crowd. 

It makes you feel strong, and grants you courage,

To carry on, and let go of all your baggage,

With every verse you write, that comes from the mind,

It attracts energy that is harder to find.

Each line you finished, brings a quiet pride,

A victory felt, deep down inside.

The rhymes you craft, the words you entwine,

Bring immense joy, like crossing a finish line.

You feel empowered, through simple poetry,

Each word you write, shows your artistry,

You shape the message, you set the tone,

A writer’s heart, a gift of your own.

Poetry’s beauty lies in deep emotions,

Its power to stir, to move like an ocean, 

It pulls forth love, sadness, anger and delight,

Painting the world in words, in soft and vivid light.

BIO: Robert Celles

Robert Celles is a Chemical Engineering graduate at the National University in the Philippines. He has authored three poetry books, “VERSES FROM MY HEART” was released last 2022 and his second book, “The Lighthouse” in 2023, and FINDING RAINBOWS in 2024 by Amazon and were published by McKinley Publication Hub in the U.S.A. 

He had been recognized and awarded on the arts of poetry and painting from different international groups.

Since 2005, Robert has resided with his family in British Columbia, Canada.
